How does this work?

We prepare the meals in Athens. For most destinations, we send the meals with a refrigerated shipping company which will deliver them directly to your hotel. You will need to notify the hotel in advance that you will receive this package and provide us with the contact person that has been informed about the Kosher meals. For some locations and some days, direct delivery is not possible but we can send the meals with alternative ways.

What are the alternative ways of delivering the meals?

If direct delivery to your location is not possible, there are alternative ways of sending the meals:

1) We send the meals with the shipping company and you will go to pick it up from their nearest storage place.

2) For islands destinations, we send the meals with the ferry in the morning from the port of Piraeus in a Styrofoam box with ice packs and you (or someone from the hotel) will have to pick it up at the port at the arrival of the ferry. Please note that you will have to be on time because the ferry stays a limited amount of time and then leaves... with the unclaimed packages.

3) We send the meals with air cargo (with an extra fee) and you (or someone from the hotel) will pick it up from the airport.

4) For mainland destinations only, we send the meals with the KTEL intercity bus and you (or someone from the hotel) will have to pick it up from the KTEL central bus station of the area you are staying.

Is there a delivery every day?

The refrigerated shipping company delivers to hotels from Tuesday to Friday only. For deliveries on Sunday and Monday, there are a few options:

- Pick up from the nearest shipping company storage (see details #1
- Ferry (see details above # 2
- Air cargo (see details #3
- Intercity bus KTEL (see details above #4). (for mainland only)

Why do you send the Shabbat meals for Thursday?

We schedule the delivery of the Shabbat meals to the hotels for Thursday (afternoon) so in case there is a delay with the boat, the truck or any other problem, there is still time on Friday to make the delivery before Shabbat. If you want to receive the meals on Friday, we can send it with the ferry (for the islands) or the KTEL (for mainland) and you will have to pick it up.

Can you deliver to villas, apartments, airbnb?

The refrigerated shipping company can deliver only to hotels or places that have a reception all day long. If you are staying in villa/apartment, there are a few options:

- Pick up from the nearest shipping company storage (see details #1
- Ferry (see details above # 2
- Air cargo (see details #3
- Intercity bus KTEL (see details above #4) (for mainland only)

Can you deliver meals for a few days at once?

Yes, to a certain extent. The meals stay fresh for 2-3 days. If you wish to order meals for more days, we can either schedule more deliveries, or send you part of the meals (freshly) frozen.

How much is the delivery fee?

For most destinations, it is 30 Euros, flat fee, no matter the amount of meals. For Mykonos, the price is 40 euros. For Crete, it depends on which area. Please contact us for exact delivery costs.

How much in advance do I need to order?

At least one week. But you can order earlier.

How do I reheat the meals?

Meals are sent in double wrapped containers and can be reheated in non-kosher ovens. We include disposable plates and cutlery, as well as instructions in English and Greek on how to store and reheat the meals.
