Ice skaking

Ice skating is a lot of fun for young and old. This ice rink is the largest in Athens (1000 m2) and is located very near the center. You can rent skates there, get a skating lesson (call in advance) and let out your energy on the ice. For those who don’t like skating, there is a mall right next door, where you can do your shopping and have a coffee. The rink is open from the end of October until April.

How to get there?

At taxi from the city center should not be more than 10 euros (see taxi tips). If you come with a car, there is a big parking at the mall, the 2 first hours are free. Go down Pireos st. (called Panagi Tsaldari at its beginning next to Omonia Square), and the mall will be on your right hand.

You can also use the public transportation:
Bus: station “Ergon”
049 – Peiraios- Omonia
815 – Tavros – Goudi
914 – Kokkinia – Lahanagora – Omonia

Metro: Keramikos (blue line) but then you have to walk another 15 minutes.
